First Morning

The long night is over and Shalla is finally able to get some much needed uninterrupted sleep. I was told a room is ready for her and they will move her out of intensive care and into a standard room later today. They are going to keep her in ICU for a whilel and let her rest. Things are progressing at the pace the surgeons expected, which is great. We should get to talk with the surgeon today. While I was sitting in the hotel room writing this, I called to check and found out they already moved her to a regular room.

That is SO great!! I won't even tell you how horrible ICU was for me (I think I was there about 4 days??) -- we were BEGGING them to let me go to a regular room so my hubby (or mom) could stay with me. Still praying for a quick and easy recovery for you all!!
